How can personal training and nutrition coaching help my well-being?

Personal training and nutrition coaching are the most effective ways to improve your physical health and reach your fitness goals. Unlike online workout videos or generalized diet plans, my services are fully customized to each individual client to allow for meaningful progress. As your coach, I will create an exercise and nutrition program that will directly align with your personal fitness level and health goals. To ensure progress, I will make adjustments to your program to constantly meet your individual needs and goals.

Why should I choose Fitness with Franny?

I started Fitness with Franny because I genuinely care about helping others improve their lives – not just their appearance. 

I hold degrees in both biology and pharmacy and am still practicing as a pharmacist. My background in science has provided me with the tools and knowledge to truly make a difference in the lives and health of my clients. I’m not here to provide people with cookie-cutter fitness and nutrition plans that won’t provide results – I’m genuinely invested in the success and well-being of my clients and will walk with you every step of the way.

I also pride myself on being an empathetic trainer. I have struggled with PCOS, infertility, depression, anxiety, and other life obstacles. It’s because of this, however, that I know exactly how much of a difference incorporating health and fitness into your life can make. As your coach, I would be beyond grateful to help you get out of whatever difficult situations you may be facing.

Is strength training safe for beginners?

Yes, it is! Virtually everything we do in life requires strength, like getting up from a chair, carrying groceries, or walking up and down staircases. The more we practice using our muscles during training sessions, the easier it becomes for us to complete these everyday tasks. Additionally, because my sessions are not one-size-fits-all, but rather catered to your individual strength training experience, I ensure all exercises are safe and appropriate for each and every client. With a background in powerlifting, I also always make sure my clients have the correct form when exercising in order to prevent injury and make the best progress possible.

Will I be put on a diet?

No, I do not give out diet plans. Instead, I aim to focus on educating clients about nutrition so that they can create healthy habits that will last a lifetime. My goal is to teach you to make informed decisions about food choices so you never have to try, or fail, another fad diet ever again.

How much space will I need?

For our virtual training sessions, you will need enough space to be able to take one big step in any direction or have your arms outstretched without hitting anything. Ideally, you will have a flat, stable surface and a yoga mat available for floor work. Your camera will also need to be placed in a spot that will allow me to view your whole body so I can properly guide you through movements.

 

What payment options do you offer?

How should I prepare for your training sessions?

I encourage you to wear comfortable clothes you can work out in as well as running shoes. Since our sessions will be 30 minutes in length, I will teach you different warm-ups that you can complete before the session officially begins. That way, we’re able to jump right into the workout!

How long will it take before I see results?

The time it takes to see results depends on each person and their individual effort, prior medical history, genetics, and more factors. However, I will create training and nutritional programs that will best support you on your fitness journey.

Do I need to purchase any home gym equipment for your training services?

There’s no need to purchase any extra equipment, I’m happy to build sessions around whatever you have at home.
